Printing in Colour
In most rooms, printers should be set up ready to use with a
monochrome (black and white) printer. If you would like to print in
colour, some areas such as the LRCs have colour printers to use. To
use these, you will need to add the printer to use it. To do this,
follow these instructions:
- Click Start Menu>Printers and Faxes
- On the left side, click 'Add a printer'
- Click Next
- Click Next again
- With 'Find a printer in the directory' selected, press
Next.
- In the 'Find Printers' dialog box, enter
*pull* in the Name field, including the
asterisks.
- Press Find Now.
- A printer named Safecom.pull should be listed. Select this and
then press the OK button.
- Press Next if you wish to use this printer as the default one,
although remember that you will be charged more for all colour
prints.
- Press Finish
- The printer is now ready to use.
- For assistance in finding the colour printer, please ask a
member of staff for assistance.
