Events Team
- Do you want to make a difference in
College?
- Can you spare an hour so a week?
John Cooke (v-talent) and the S.U are looking for five volunteers
to work with us on cross college events.
Outline of Role:
- To gain Student Ideas on events within
College
- Organise and publicise a variety of
activities to reflect the interests of all students.
- Establish and maintain contact with relevant
local and national charities that may be relevant to the student
body.
- Establish and maintain contact with NUS and
relevant campaigns that they are running.
- Ensure that all social activities are well
publicised to all students at all sites of the College, and that
they are also accessible.
- Be responsible in establishing a student
group. Reporting back to the Enrichment /Development Worker,
John Cooke (v-talent) and relevant Student / College
Committees.
- Liaise with the Enrichment / Development
Worker and John Cooke (v-talent) to ensure that all events are
covered for insurance, liability, permission for usage of land,
etc. and that all health and safety aspects have been
examined.
