Free car parking

At the High Melton campus, we have more than 250 spaces, comprehensive security and a 24-hour reception service every day of the week. And what’s more, at High Melton, it doesn’t cost you a penny.

Food, shops and restaurants

Wherever you stop to eat on campus, there’s plenty of choice, from cooked food and sandwiches, to snacks and fruit. You can choose from plenty of healthy options, and all our food is freshly made with local produce. And it won’t stretch your budget either.

Our coffee shop is ideal if you’re in a rush and want to grab a quick drink or a bite to eat. It’s also pretty handy for a bit of group study if you need to chat through anything with your fellow students. If you’re looking for something more substantial, our restaurant serves hot and cold food between 8am–2pm. The student shop at High Melton also offers food and refreshment and things you’ll need for your course such as stationery. And if you’re running low on cash, High Melton and The Hub have cash points on campus, and both are free to use.

Sport and fitness

We have fitness suites at both campuses - the fitness suite at the Hub is free to students, while the suite at High Melton is just £1 per session. At The Hub, there’s a sports hall which is used for basketball, football, badminton, aerobics and plenty more. At High Melton, we even have a nine-hole golf course. If you take your sport seriously, we have regional and national squads that compete regularly. You can even work towards qualifications and coaching awards.

High Melton student bar

Open evenings and weekends, our bar is great for meeting new people and letting your hair down. There’s always plenty going on and we’ve got pool tables, table tennis,

table football and a great jukebox. But if you just want to get five minutes to yourself, there’s comfy seats and quiet spots too.Throughout the year, the bar is also the place to go for a range of activities andevents. From karaoke and quiz nights, toregular live music, there’s enough going on for you to take your pick, and do whatever interests you the most.
