Student Comments
"Before I came to Doncaster College, I did a Foundation
Degree in what is advertised as one of the best Arts University’s
in the UK. What I found though was quite disappointing as I didn’t
really learn much about my subject area and the tutor support was
lacking. Here at Doncaster College I have found the opposite where
the tutors are really helpful and lead you in the right direction."
SS, International student from Thailand
"During my study I have understood where I need to be
thanks to the 2 year Foundation Degree in Animation & Games Art
which has had a huge impact on my creative skills development and
given me a clear understanding of concept art. Tutors on the BA
Illustration & Animation top-up course are really helpful in
giving advise and training on a specific area of your own interest
– I just wish that I could spend more time here to develop even
further as an artist. I would completely recommend the BA
Illustration & Animation top-up course and the previous 2 year
Foundation Degree to anyone" NS
Previous FdA Animation and Games Art graduate Darren
Watford, who now works at Blitz says "The FdA Animation & Games
Art and BA (Hons) Illustration & Animation courses at Doncaster
focuses not only on digital skills, but also on traditional art and
animation techniques which are essential to the games industry."
