Biography
Since graduating I have been involved in a wide range of
creative and academic activity.
I have worked as a freelance industry professional as a camera
operator, sound recordist and editor. I worked as a freelance
treatment writer for the gaming company Cool Beans.
I have made two short films, one of which was shortlisted for a
prize for the Propellor TV short film competition. I have created
video material for intermedia, theatre performances and created
promotional video materials for University Centre Doncaster.
I have written book reviews for academic journals and I am a
freelance book reviewer for Elsevier Publishers and Focal
Press.
As well as having a passion for the cinema and TV, I have a
great interest in other arts such as literature, especially
crime fiction, music and comics.

Research / scholarly activity
I have produced and directed two films as student enhancement
projects, one of which, Saviour, was shortlisted
for an award for Propeller TV.
I have had a review published for the International Journal
of Performance Arts and Digital Media. Intellect Books, 2010, and
have also reviewed papers for possible publication in the above
Journal.
Projects
I am currently working on producing research materials for a
staff team project on the delivery of Interdisciplinary work.
