Biography

After Completing a National Diploma at Doncaster College and a BA (Hons) in Fashion at University Centre I started working at Doncaster College as a fashion technician. I work on both Higher Education and Further Education courses split between both The Hub and High Melton campus. In my spare time I am also a freelance costume designer/maker. I work on anything from individual fancy dress costumes to costuming a whole performance and I have recently completed my first international commission for a young woman in the US. I am now studying for a PGCE and teaching textiles on the 1st year of the BA (Hons) Fashion and Textiles Design. Personal interests include; Prop making, pattern cutting and garment manufacture, costume and fashion design, textiles, design and manufacture of accessories plus anything to further my knowledge of fashion and textiles.
