Biography

I am from a Business Management background and have had experience of working in both an employed and self-employed capacity.

Having worked overseas in a managerial role I have first-hand knowledge of international operations management and of providing proficient customer service in an overseas market. I have excellent links with businesses and benefit from having experience of sitting on the regional area board for Young Enterprise and various business forums in the Nottinghamshire region.

I am extremely interested in innovation and enterprise, small business start-ups and equipping learners with transferable skills for the future.

I am currently studying for a Master’s in Education Innovation and Enterprise (MAEIE), and am part way through a professional qualification with the CIM.

External activity / professional links

I am a member of the IFL and hold QTLS status; I am also an associate member of the CIM (ACIM).
Outside of work I am a local councillor and work with the local government on a range of local community issues.
