Apprentice Clerical Assistant - Finance

Reporting to the Financial Accountant under
the direction of the Assistant Accountant we are looking for an
Apprentice Clerical Assistant to contribute to the effective
running of the Finance Office thus gaining valuable work experience
whilst undertaking an apprenticeship.
Based at The Hub in a large central office,
the successful candidate will be required to carry out a wide range
of administrative duties working predominantly within the purchase
ledger section. Duties will include processing orders,
invoices and credit notes through onto the ledgers and will also
involve dealing with enquiries from students, staff and other
outside organisations.
You should have good literacy, numeracy and IT
skills and be a confident, hard working, enthusiastic individual,
with good communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
You should also be willing to, or working towards the
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification.
