Posted: 17th July 2015

Second year Moving Image Production student, Ross Adgar has had his short film accepted for the Nightpiece Film Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe taking place this summer from 14th – 29th August.

The stylish flick has already featured in a public screening at CAST as part of the end of year Arts Festival, but is now set to compete against a range of other submissions from across the UK and beyond as part of the renowned Edinburgh Fringe festival.

The Railway Carriage is a 10-minute psychological horror filmed earlier this year at Elsecar Heritage Railway in South Yorkshire, and Elston Chapel in Nottingham.

Programme Leader Jamie Butcher said: “It is fantastic to see students like Ross gaining recognition by industry professionals for the great work they produce, and I’m sure Ross’s film will be very well received at the festival”

The film can be viewed along with Ross’s other work by searching Adgar Productions on facebook and navigating to the Adgar Productions website.
