‘Celebrate’ is an eclectic mix of student work on show now at The Point in Doncaster’s town centre.
The exhibition explores the creative process as well as ‘finished work’ of students from University Centre Doncaster across six weeks, showcasing the diverse and creative talents of art, design and media degree students across all higher education courses. The work on display gives a full picture of what students undertake during their period of study displaying sketchbooks, 2D and 3D visual development, final prints and animated screen work, as well as textile designs, completed items of clothing, packaging design, corporate identity work and projection mapping. Finally screen print, paintings, ceramics, sculpture through to photography.
Leader of the FdA Illustration & Concept Art course, Carey Sizer-Coy, along with her colleague Keith Hume, Programme Leader for BA(Hons) Illustration & Concept Art, arranged the exhibition to celebrate the creative artwork of our students studying with us and allowing others an opportunity to see what the University has to offer within Higher Educational study across Art, Design and Media disciplines.
