Doncaster College has joined with Young Enterprise, now named Young Money, to develop the financial education we offer through our Tutorial provision. The Centre of Excellence project has supported programmes to help students feel confident managing their finances now and in the future.
Diane Lawson, Head of Welfare, Tutorial and Professional Development, noted “We are thrilled to have been acknowledged for this work as we want to ensure our students are prepared for life in modern Britain.”
Gavin Hinchliffe, Financial Champion, said “We have reviewed curriculum, revised policies, consulted with students and trained staff to ensure financial education is a priority for our students. We are now working on the next part of the project which is sharing good practice”
