Student Places 2nd in Lee Stafford Hairdressing Competition

Michaela Edgar was awarded 2nd place in the Cut & Finish category at the annual Lee Stafford Hairdresser of the Year 2018 Competition.

The event took place on Friday 9th March at the Redken Exchange in London and was judged by Lee Stafford himself and special judges, Errol Douglas and Sophia Hilton.

Michaela, who studies Level 3 Hairdressing at Doncaster College and University Centre, attended the event with 2 other finalists on her course, along with models and her college tutors. She wowed the judges with her unique cutting style and scored 2nd place, taking home a trophy and a certificate.

150 people from 8 Lee Stafford partner colleges across the country attended the event which takes place every year to celebrate the success of students and colleges within Lee Stafford Education. Doncaster College and University Centre launched its partnership with Lee Stafford Education in June 2017, and has been a raving success for its students ever since.
