International Work Experience at DN Colleges Group

Posted: 29th September 2020

Our Erasmus+ programme offers students from Doncaster College and North Lindsey College a life-changing opportunity to gain international work experience around the EU, in our partner countries which include: France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Sweden, Finland and more!

Thanks to the successful award of our latest contract, Erasmus+ programme placements and funds are guaranteed until (at least) December 2022!

In the current climate, progressing into the job market can be an uphill battle; competition is fierce, but international work experience can open the door to wonderful new opportunities. We are offering the chance to boost your employability, experience different cultures, become more independent, learn a new language, build new connections and develop new skills. All of this while contributing toward the work placement hours required for your college course (if applicable).

Erasmus+ your gateway to success

Erasmus+ is an EU funded programme, which means that your flights, accommodation, insurance, work placement and staff/tutor support costs are all included and totally FREE!

The placements will last for a 2 week period, with approximately 10 days of real-life work experience, 2 days of travel and 2 days of dedicated cultural enrichment activities. This opportunity is open to all students (including Apprentices) at DN Colleges Group. For further in depth programme information, please consult our 2020-21 International Student Guide.

We operate a rolling application process with varying deadlines dependent on your chosen subject area, and several departure dates throughout the year*. These internships will be tailored to the area of your study, so watch out for the team who will be visiting your classroom or online tutorials in the near future to tell you more about this once in a lifetime opportunity!

*Due to current COVID-19 restrictions we currently cannot yet confirm our planned departure dates for the academic year 2020-21.
