Student Comment

The Games Design and Animation course at Doncaster College and University centre is like no other. It will teach you the value of being a self motivated artist, current games practices and skills. It is a place that allowd me to grow and nurture my own creative ability and I would certainly recommend it for any talented motivated artist out there.

During the course I spent 3 years honing my skills as a 3D artist, getting up to scratch with current working practices in industry and meeting industry professionals, incredible tutors and talented people that can help me enter the industry. The course is rigorous in training you to be ready for the world outside education. I now run my own freelance business and couldn’t have done it without the training I received at Doncaster College and University Centre.

Employer Comment

The BA Game Design & Animation programme at Doncaster College brings together an experienced team offering an industry led approach to it’s content, teaching the relevant skills required to enter the Games Industry. From my perspective as an industry professional of over 20 years the course programme’s modules are focused on the right areas such as working in a team environment, opportunity to specialise in a field of their choice and the importance of portfolio development. These will help students develop their skills and improve upon existing knowledge in preperation for a career in the Games Industry.
