Course Overview

The course allows you to work through a range of modules which will help you to explore decision making, building key working relationships, supporting and developing team members and key networking with professionals from other business sectors.  The level 5 builds on key operational knowledge you have gained at level 3 or key management experience gained within the workplace to allow depth of understanding and analysis to make informed business decisions, plan strategically and managed large teams and projects effectively. On completion of the Level 5 qualification students are able to apply for Chartered Manager Status with the CMI, which is widely recognised in industry.

Course fees include registration and membership to The Chartered Institute for Managers (CMI)  and a range of study resources from CMI’s Management Direct area of the website.

Course delivery is via a blended learning approach. College classroom session 1 day every 5 weeks. Online lectures and activities through the course duration.

Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

Acceptance onto the CMI Diploma in Management and Leadership is via interview by the CMI Programme Leader. It is expected that you will already hold a Level 3 or equivalent management qualification to commence on this programme or have work experience in a management role.
