CPD: Practical Interviewing skills for Working Systemically with Families, Couples and Individuals

in this workshop the emphasis will be on presenting a range of practical skills developed by Barry and link these to theoretical ideas and the clinician’s use of self.  Detailed transcripts from his work will be used to show how he purs his interviewing ideas into practice.  he will also do a “live” interview with some people attending the workshop.  Another strand will address how clinicians can be better at taking relational risks within the therapeutic relationship and how clients can also be helped to become better relational risk-takers.  The workshop will give plenty of time for practice, exercises and discussion.
