Units and Structure
You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in the Health Care Sector. The qualification has three pathways which can be tailored to your specific area of competence/work environment, which include a general pathway, dementia pathway and the learning disability pathway.
Entry Requirements
You'll need to have:
You do not need any qualifications or have to have undertaken any previous courses or forms of study. However, you will have to show that you have the required underpinning knowledge and understanding of health and social care. Therefore you will need to have had at least six months experience in a health and social care setting and currently be working within a setting 6-10 hours weekly. This is to support vocational competence.
