Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

Entry onto the two year HNC requires one of the following:

  • 48 Ucas tariff points – from at least 2 GCE A Level with supporting GCSE grades A-C in appropriate science maths or technology subjects
  • BTEC National Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma + NVQ level 3 trade qualifications
  • BTEC National Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment
  • NVQ 3 Site Supervision or Site Technical Operations
  • Mature entrants with previous construction experience may be recognised through Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)

We welcome applications from people of any age who might not meet the standard entry criteria, but we would expect to see evidence of continuing academic and/or professional development and a capacity to pursue the course successfully.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend an interview to discuss your ability and suitability for the course.
