Course Overview

The emphasis of this programme is to develop work related skills alongside creative thinking within a Motion Graphics context. University Centre Doncaster is working with leading industry figures, with a focus on job-ready industry training integrated into our programmes of study.

Through a variety of practical assignments, written reports and presentations, you will gain an in-depth understanding of Motion Graphics.

Level 4 Modules

Individual Project; Creative Media Industry; Professional Practice; Motion Graphics Practices; Visual Effects & Motion Graphics Cultures; Typography

Optional Units include:

Film & Video Editing; Story Boarding; Principles of Animation; Principles of Photography

Level 5 Modules

Collaborative Project; Personal Professional Development; Advanced Motion Graphics Studies

Optional Units include:

Advanced Rendering & Visualisation; Emerging Technologies; Project Management; Advanced Animation; Advanced 3D Modelling; Market Research; Advanced Editing & Compositing; Social Media Practice; Asset Capture & Management

Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

Entry to the course requires 64 Ucas points typically from one of the following:

  • A levels
  • BTEC National Diploma (MMP)
  • Diploma in Foundation Studies
  • Adult Access to HE
  • APL
  • Relevant work/background experience

We also welcome applications from people who do not meet the standard entry criteria, but we expect to see evidence of continuing academic and/or professional development.
