Units and Structure
5 core units and 3 optional units covered, including one functional skill.
- Various units including:
- Supervising Staff
- Devising and Implementing Rotas
- Planning and Organising Events
- Supervising Payments and Staff
- Serving Food and Drink to a Variety of Customers over a Variety of Events.
Entry Requirements
You'll need to have:
- Level 2 in customer service or relevant industry experience
- All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview
- Must be in related employment or a placement will be found alongside the course.

Progression and Employment
Progression on completion of the course may include a higher level course such as an HND or Degree.
Career prospects are excellent within this expanding industry, which is continually on the lookout for skilled employees, locally, nationally and internationally. This qualification will provide opportunities to gain work in a supervisory role such as assistant manager within a wide range of areas in the Hospitality Industry. These could include working in hotels, Army, National Health Service, contract catering and event catering.
