Course Overview

You will be taught through a combination of classroom and studio based activities, as well as, completing written and practical work. In class you will work with live models that represent the look you are working to achieve.

The course will consist of completing four different looks, as well as communicating with your clients, make up application techniques, and health and safety.

Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm for 13 weeks.

Units and Structure

You will cover the following units:

  • Makeup application techniques – such as day, evening and special occasion looks
  • Health and Safety related to makeup application
  • Communicating with clients.

Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • Learners must be aged 18 or over
  • Students must be of smart appearance
  • Show a keen interest in the make up/beauty industry.
