Year 1 modules:

  • Engineering Design
  • Engineering Maths
  • Engineering Science
  • Managing a Professional Engineering Project (Pearson-set)
  • Mechanical Principles
  • Materials, Properties and Testing
  • Automation, Robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Electrical and Electronic Principles

Year 2 modules:

  • Research Project
  • Professional Engineering Management (Pearson-set)
  • Further Mathematics
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Virtual Engineering
  • Further PLCs
  • Advanced Manufacturing Technology

Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

You will normally be required to have achieved the BTEC National Certificate/Diploma or an A level/NVQ/VRQ level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area. If you are over 21 years old with significant practical experience or craft qualifications, your application will be considered.
