Course Overview

A focused programme of exploration and development will create a greater sense of independence and creativity, extending, refining and developing skills within a chosen specialism, leading to the preparation of a portfolio for University entry.

All sessions are delivered in purpose built studios and workshops, including specialist ceramics, photography and printmaking facilities.

Units and Structure

The programme is broken down into three stages. Learners will develop their autonomy through the stages and take their work into a specialist pathway during Stage 2.  The course is made up of lectures, workshops and briefs and builds to a final major project and exhibition.

Entry Requirements

You'll need to have:

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C and at least two AS levels at grade C, or one A2 Level qualification; or a Level 3 Diploma
  • All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview
  • A portfolio of art work must be presented at interview.
