Profile image

As part of the course I have taken part in a range of work experience. I have coached in a number of primary schools as part of the college assessment. I have helped the College Sports Maker plan and deliver coaching and fitness sessions and a specific example was with the Life Skills group who have specific learning needs and physical impairments which I had to plan and adapt the sessions to their requirements. Doing this has improved my communication and has given me a greater understanding of the professional aspect sports coaching.

I have also represented the College on their Netball and Football teams. I really enjoyed this as I got to play the sports I love while being on programme. The College has supported me throughout my time here. They have helped me with my future career plans and I know exactly where I want to be and what I had to do to get there.
