Workplace learning will promote ‘in work’ progression of employed individuals with low skills via work related skills training providing provision that will raise their attainment ,enabling to improve their employment status and move on to undertake higher level qualifications.

Units and Structure
You complete 2 mandatory units:
- Maintenance of a safe, hygienic and secure working environment
- Working effectively as part of a hospitality team
You also choose optional units (usually 3-5) from:
- Clean windows from the inside
- Collect and deliver items for customers and staff
- Collect linen and make beds
- Help to clean and maintain furnished areas
- Prepare, service and clear meeting and conference rooms
- Process information for reception function
- Receive, move and store customer and organisation property
- Service bathrooms and toilets
- Service public areas at front of house
- Maintain customer care
- Solve business problems
- Communicate in a business environment
- Make and receive telephone calls
- Assist in handling mail
- Use a filing system
- Maintain and deal with payments
