GCSE Sciences

We offer GCSE Biology and GCSE Chemistry as separate courses. You can do one or both of these courses.

The exam board we use is Edexcel.

Either one of these GCSEs is suitable for progression into Primary teaching or healthcare courses such as nursing.

The next courses start early September 2023. Biology classes are available with a choice of Wednesday morning or Wednesday evening. Chemistry classes are on Tuesday evening.

There is no assessed coursework for these courses but there are 8 practical investigations which are compulsory for all students. The exams include questions relating to these practicals
