The Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology (Games Development) is a one year course designed for learners of all abilities and interests in the gaming sector to flourish when applying their own knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to developing games.
Using a range of personal skills and software packages you will devise, develop, create and exhibit 2D games working independently and as part of a team.

- Concept Art Techniques
- Animation Techniques
- Audio Technology
- Graphics Technology
- Image Capture
- TV and Film Techniques
To begin on Level 2 applicants would be expected to have achieved 3 or 4 GCSE’s at least D grades and Level 1 in their diagnostic testing.
Students are expected to demonstrate their interests in media and art through the presentation of a portfolio of work. Prospective students may be set work in order to assess their suitability.
All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview
