Computing Level 3 (Year 2 top-up)

The Pearson BTEC qualification is designed to support learners who wish to study computing and develop skills and knowledge required to undertake a career within the digital industry.

This programme collaborates with employers, representatives from higher education and relevant professional bodies. It also ensures the learners are able to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge of the digital industry. The course focuses on computing skills tailored to the industry to ensure knowledge and skills are transferable to specific job roles within the digital industry such as Project Manager / System Analyst / Software Developer / IT Technician / Network Engineer /Cyber Security.

The Level 3 programme provides an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship or go to university after successful completion of the course.

The Level 3 BTEC Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification combining practical and theoretical study.
