Digital Production, Design and Development Edexcel Level 3 T- Level Technical Qualification

The T Level technical qualification is designed for students who want to progress to a career in the digital sector with a focus on software design and development. The students should be aged 16 – 19 years and in full time education.

It ensures students have the knowledge and skills needed to progress into highly skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university, within the specialist area of software development such as Web or Application Developer / Mobile App Developer / Game Developer/ Software Developer/ System Analyst / Test Developer & Programmer.

T Levels offer industry placement of a minimum 45 days or 315 hours. This is a two-year programme and students must be committed to develop occupationally specific skills needed for skilled employment within a specific occupation.

The T Level programme has been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to meet the needs of industry and prepare students for work.

Assessment Method

External exam

You should have achieved GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 and above or Level 2 functional skills (English and Maths)

All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and English and attend an interview
