The HND Creative Media Production (Game Development) course offers students a project-based learning experience with a key focus on practical assignments.
The course is structured around industry focused assignments and has a mixture of both team-based projects and solo projects with the end goal of creating an exciting and rich portfolio to enable students to show off their skills in professional interviews upon graduation. Students on this course will have the opportunity to pursue either a Game Design or 3D Art centric approach to their studies with the Units and roles in group assignments reflecting their choice of pathway throughout their time on the course.
The course offers the opportunity to collaborate with other students across the Creative Media Production department, meaning that students can work together with Visual Effects, Motion Graphics and Sound Media students on group projects to simulate an industry focused pipeline.
