First Aid at Work HABC Level 3

Fitness Instruction and Personal Training Level 2/3

This combination course will provide you with both a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training. It’s designed to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work unsupervised as a personal trainer in sport and active leisure.

Food Safety in Catering Level 2

GCSE English

GCSE English Language is an interesting and engaging course where you will analyse and evaluate a variety of texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st century.

GCSE English Fast-Track January Start (for adult learners 19+)

This course is designed for adult learners aged 19+ who need GCSE English to progress to higher level courses and have already gained either GCSE grade D (new grade 3) or Functional Skills English Level 2.

The course begins in January 2020 with the intention for students to sit the GCSE exams in the June 2020 series.

The science GCSE we currently offer is GCSE Biology. This course is suitable for anyone needing a GCSE in a science subject to progress to science or health-related University courses or Primary School teaching. We typically achieve pass rates in excess of 70%. ***WE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR THIS COURSE FOR SEPTEMBER 2019 START***

Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 2

This course provides an understanding of health and safety that will enable participants to contribute to any risk assessment based health and safety management system. It is aimed at anyone in a work environment.

Health Care Sector Level 2

This qualification is aimed to equip you with the vital skills and knowledge required to work in the healthcare sector. The qualification covers things like communicating effectively, maintaining quality standards, improving the service you offer and health, safety and security.

HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering

An HNC in an engineering discipline is considered to be one of the benchmark qualifications for the industry. This programme of study has been designed to provide a programme in the area of electrical/ electronic engineering.

HNC Mechanical Engineering

A HNC in an engineering discipline is considered to be one of the benchmark qualifications for the industry. This programme of study has been designed to provide a programme in the area of mechanical engineering.

HND Construction (Conversion)

The BTEC Higher National Diploma in Construction is a professional qualification and is a conversion top up qualification for students who have already achieved the HNC. Students will usually be in full employment and wishing to gain entry into professional bodies by holding the relevant units of accreditation required by those bodies.

HND Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) Level 5

The Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) is designed to support progression into relevant occupational areas or onto degree level study. This pathway is linked to Professional Body standards (where appropriate) and can provide progression towards professional status or entry to the later stages of an appropriate degree.

Holders of the Level 5 Higher National Diploma will have developed a sound understanding of the principles in their field of study, and will have learned to apply those principles more widely. Through this they will have learned to evaluate the appropriateness of different approaches to solving problems. They will be able to perform effectively in their chosen field, and will have the qualities necessary for employment in situations requiring the exercise of personal responsibility and decision-making.

HND Mechanical Engineering (Conversion)

This 30 week part-time course has been designed to support the transition from your  level 4 HNC qualification to level 5 HND.  Over the 2 years the units undertaken give you a range of academic and practical opportunities to work  and achieve a level 5 qualification.  The skills and knowledge gained will prepare you for progression to level 6.

ICT Entry Level 3

The course has been designed to give you practical skills in using Information Technology that will enable you to carry out tasks in a range of vocational contexts. It is ideally suited to those who are new to using ICT.

Instructing Exercise and Fitness Level 2

The level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness apprenticeship programme is aimed at exercise and fitness instructors who are capable of planning, delivering and evaluating a series of sessions independently.
