Postgraduate Diploma Human Resource Management

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to improve your contribution to the management of employees at a strategic level in your current or future employing organisation.The course emphasises the development of professional capability as well as theoretical understanding of the subject and will provide an overview of the HR function to inform your choice of future HR career specialisation.

In addition to the University of Cumbria qualification the Postgraduate Diploma covers the knowledge requirements for Chartered Membership of CIPD.

Principles of COSHH Level 2

Professional Cookery Level 3 NVQ

This course takes the skills and techniques learnt on the NVQ Level 2 course or skills you have already gained from industry, enhances and helps you to further develop them so that you will learn and be able to demonstrate specialist cooking skills. Please note: For students aged 16-18, this course is full-time. For students aged 19+, it is part-time.

Spray Tanning 1 Day Course

This training course will give you the skills required to carry out that perfect spray tan treatment.

Team Leading Knowledge Level 2

The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading Knowledge introduces you to the role of the team leader and the preparation required for leading a team. This course also introduces you to the planning of developmental activities and it enables you to consider the legislation which applies to discrimination, inclusion and equality when leading a team.

Text Processing (Business Professional) Level 1

Warehousing Storage and Logistics Level 1

The Award in Warehousing and Storage is for people who would like to work in a warehousing and storage facility within the logistics sector. This provision is open to customers aged 19 and over who are in receipt of a state benefit and are looking for employment.

Workbased Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) Level 3

The aim of this qualification is to prepare you to become Early Years Educators, enabling you to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. The qualification is suitable for people involved in vocational work, either full-time, part-time or voluntary. Points to Note: As this is a work-based course you must have secured either voluntary work or employment within a childcare environment working with children aged 0-5, for a minimum of 10 hours per week for the duration of the course.  Please note that you must have been volunteering or working in the placement in which you are to be assessed for at least 12 weeks prior to the course commencing.

Workbased Early Years Education and Care Intoduction Level 2

The aim of this qualification is to prepare you to work with children between birth and five years with knowledge of children up to seven years. The qualification is suitable for people involved in vocational work, either full-time, part-time or voluntary. As this is a work-based course you must have secured either voluntary work or employment within a childcare environment working with children aged 0 - 5 for a minimum of 10 hours per week for the duration of the course. You must have been working or volunteering in the placement you will be assessed in for a minimum of 12 weeks prior to commencing the course.

Workbased Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3

This qualification is for those currently working, or wishing to work in an educational support capacity within a school environment as a teaching assistant, classroom assistant, learning support assistant or special needs assistant.   Points to Note: As this is a work-based course you must have secured either voluntary work or employment within a childcare environment working with children in a school setting, for a minimum of 10 hours per week for the duration of the course.  Please note that you must have been volunteering or working in the placement in which you are to be assessed for at least 12 weeks prior to the course commencing.
