Schools and Academies
Our Forest School practitioners are fully qualified with current DBS checks, First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and have Early Years and Playwork qualifications. We can deliver bespoke learning experiences and are able to develop new ideas that involve problem solving, working in teams and can add challenging tasks for children that will give an exciting learning experience in the forest.
Our Forest School Practitioners work with all age groups and abilities of children and young people. Working in partnership with visiting teachers, we offer a tailor made day in the forest supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculum Framework to meet your needs in a fun and practical great day out!
We offer team building opportunities for groups, a Forest School BIG day out, including den building, woodcraft, forest trails and popping corn on the fire, for adults, children and young people.
We can even bring your books to life in the forest! Come along and build a habitat for the Gruffalo and his friends or go on a Bear Hunt!
Children that participate in our Forest School intervention encounter high quality teaching that engages and motivates them to learn.
Another of our aims is to ensure teachers leave our Forest School with lots of ideas for activities to further extend children’s knowledge, skills and understanding of the world around them.
We have 2 Forest School sites accommodating up to 30 children and young people per site.
