International students requiring a Tier 4 (General) visa to come to the UK must study a full-time course, with 15 hours per week of contact time, which is at level 3 or above.
How to apply as an international applicant.
Step 1: Choose a course
Look on our web-site at our full-time courses, look carefully at the entry requirements, and choose a course that you are able to study. Contact us if you require us to check course suitability.
Step 2: Apply using the correct application form
- FE application form – apply directly from the course web page
- HE apply through UCAS
The application deadline is 30th June.
Prepare the following supporting documentation:
- certified copies of your academic transcripts and certificates
- An academic reference (preferable)
- colour scan of your passport
- proof of maintenance requirements (UKCISA)
- An IELTS for UKVI (Academic) English language test certificate
IELTS for UKVI (Academic) ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
For Further Education and HNDs we require a minimum score of 5.5 overall.
For degrees we require a minimum score of 6.0 overall and 5.5 in each of the four categories.
For our MBA we require a minimum score of 6.5 overall.

Step 3: confirmed receipt
An e-mail will be sent to confirm receipt of your application, we may contact you for supporting documentation.
Step 4: video interview
If you meet the entry requirements and are being considered , we will complete an interview.
Step 5: Offer
If successful you will receive an offer letter by e-mail, which you will need to return to confirm your acceptance.
Step 6: Pay a deposit
If you accept the place that is offered to you, we will require a minimum deposit of 50% of your first year tuition fees. Once this is made we will provide your Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS)
Step 7: Apply for a General Student Tier 4 Visa
Once you have the unconditional offer letter and you have made your payment, you will then be able to apply for a visa using the CAS number we provide. Please note it is not possible to apply for a visa more than 3 months before the start date of the course.
Step 8: Travel
If your visa is granted you will be able to make your travel arrangements. Please confirm these with our International office once you have booked them.
