Doncaster College and University Centre is delighted to announce that Rebecca Wade has been publicly honoured with the Diana Award.

18 year old, Rebecca from Intake, Doncaster received the Diana Award this week at the awards ceremony in Leeds for being a Diana Anti-Bullying Champion at the College.  She featured alongside Tessy Ojo Executive Director of the Diana Award on last Tuesday evening’s Look North to speak about the real difference she makes in college helping students.

Rebecca manages to offer a lot of support and gives out good advice referring to her own experiences of bullying which helps students to cope with their situation.

Student Union Enrichment & Development worker, Donna Robinson said, “We are extremely proud of Rebecca. The Diana Award will encourage her to continue her fantastic anti-bullying work and will hopefully inspire others to take a stand against bullying”.

Bullying can happen to anyone, of any age, anywhere. No-one has the right to hurt you or make you feel bad – please remember there is always someone to talk to. Help stop bullying and Push the Button.
