Doncaster College and University Centre performance students have raised the phenomenal amount of £735.42 for the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
The total amount was raised via ticket sales from their annual dance showcase, ‘Heartbeatz’.
Students created their own performance pieces as part of their qualification that took centre stage at the High Melton campus’ Harvey Theatre in March. The performance was a collaboration of both year one and two level 3 dance students, which included a range of dance styles from contemporary to urban.
Course Leader for Dance and Musical Theatre, Marie Wroe gave thanks “A massive thank you to all who donated, contributed, helped and supported with the dance show charity this year. It was a great success and the students did an amazing job with the showcase which will go towards their final qualification”.
