Posted: April 4th 2017

Our level 3 dance students have raised an amazing £1564.85 for Fybromyalgia Action UK.

The student’s do a terrific job at setting a new record each year with their annual dance showcase which fulfils parts of their grades for completing their qualification as well as raising money for charity.

Students took part raising money in different ways such as bag packing at their local Doncaster B&M store, doing the Smarties tube challenge, holding a tombola and a full day of dancing as well as donating show ticket sales to the charity.

Course Leader for Dance and Musical Theatre, Marie Wroe said, “I’m so proud of the dance students for reaching this total with this. The dance show was an epic success in which the students performed like true professionals”.

Fibromyalgia Action UK is a registered charity run primarily by unpaid volunteers aiming to improve the lives of people with fibromyalgia by increasing awareness of the condition throughout the UK and elsewhere, and improve the awareness of, and access to treatments for fibromyalgia.
