English and Maths Fortnight

From 6th to the 17th November students enjoyed a fun filled fortnight of exciting English and Maths activities, including competitions, creative writing, and riddles, including the return of the popular Engima escape room.

Students were challenged to ‘Abduction at the Hub’ by Engima Live Escape Rooms in a bid to solve the mystery of the missing students.  Doncaster FreePress Superkid winner Casey Pearson took to the challenge with her family as well as the Math Marvel winner himself, Joshua Mahon who took first place on the leader board in record time!

Hive South Yorkshire with author Nik Perring delivered a fantastic workshop to English GCSE students to help get the creative writing juices flowing.
