Since 2004 I have obtained valuable experience throughout both Physical Education and Exercise Science. I have taught within Secondary Education as a PE teacher, Further Education as a Sport Science Lecturer and within Higher Education. I have achieved an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science, alongside a First Class honours degree in Physical Education and Youth Sport from Sheffield Hallam University. This has provided me with great subject knowledge which is transferable within all programmes of study at UCD. I have worked alongside and biomechanically analysed a Commonwealth Games Weightlifter (ranked 8th in their weight category) and Professional Rugby League players to enhance their power related performances, and I am currently working alongside an Elite Ultra Endurance Triathlete. My research interests focus on working with real life athletes and performance enhancement.
