I have been working in Education for since 1994 both in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands, teaching from Level 2 to Level 7 in the Further Education and Skills sector. I have also been involved in designing curriculum for Undergraduate, Post Graduate and Professional Programmes.

My industry background lies in Fashion and Textiles, but after moving into teaching I have worked closely with trainee teachers and acted in a mentor role to numerous new employees. I am also a qualified assessor, and have acted as an internal verifier and external verifier both in Further Education and Higher Education.

I am currently employed as a Lecturer in Education within the Department of Education, Health and Community Practice.

Research/Scholarly Activity

My main areas of interest lay in Curriculum Development, and motivating millennial’s in education and the workplace.

British Council Funded Skills for Employability Project with ESITH (Casablanca, Morocco) 2011, Attendance and speaker, Quality conference with specific focus on employer links and engaging industry in curriculum design.
