​​Lecturer: BA (Hons) Creative Music Technology


Having trained at the Gateway School of Recording in Kingston, I went on to gain a MMus in Music Technology from Leeds University. Since 1989 I have worked regularly in both Industry and Education, and in addition to my current position at University Centre Doncaster, I continue to work as a freelance Audio Engineer, Producer, Educator and Edexcel A-level Examiner.

My experience as an Educator includes time as Programme Manager of a large FE/HE performing arts department, HE course leadership and development, HE lecturing, and delivery of music technology training from primary to postgraduate and industry levels.

My industrial experience consists of a broad range of audio and video production and engineering for commercial releases, theatre, video, dance, music performance, and new media.

Recent Live Sound experience includes music and theatre performances at Edinburgh Fringe; The Crucible, Sheffield; York Theatre Royal; and West Yorkshire Playhouse
