All students at Doncaster College have access to great pastoral support, including coaches, our Student Support Centre, and home visits.
Student Support Centre
Whether you are in College or studying at home, all of our students can access help from the Student Support Centre.
You can talk to us about:
- Money & Budgeting
- Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Activity, Enrichment & Fitness
- Your Course, Personal Development & Future Plans
- Relationships & Families
- Any other concerns or queries you may have.
You might only need a quick chat to point you in the right direction, or you may benefit from building a personalised plan to help you reach your goals. Whatever your worry or concern, we are here to help. We offer phone and online appointments as well as face-to-face support.
To contact someone at the Student Support Centre you can email us on email@example.com or you can speak to us in room N.1.604 at The Hub, or telephoning 01302 553642.
We are available Monday – Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm during term time.
Online evening appointments are also available Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm – 7:00pm by prior arrangement.
Our Team offer Home Visits and this is because we know home life can influence your success and happiness at College. Tutors can request Home Visits for students that they are concerned about or have had problems with attendance. Other reasons for Home Visits can be to talk about any barriers to attending or to support you with delivering work or equipment.
